Build self-assessment and improvement work from current evidence, with controlled drafts, measurable actions and proof of closure.
Self-Assessment Report · Evaluated Nov 2025
Illustrative SAR and QIP workspace with sample data.
Definition
SAR and QIP software helps a training provider maintain its self-assessment report and quality improvement plan as versioned, evidence-backed working records rather than disconnected annual documents.
Journey links self-assessment and quality improvement actions to audits, outcomes, safeguarding themes, complaints, observations and other permitted tenant evidence. Draft narrative remains reviewable, actions have owners and deadlines, and closure requires recorded evidence.
Each generated draft records the permitted source set used at that point in time.
Owners, due dates, priority, dependencies, impact and commentary stay visible throughout delivery.
Actions close against evidence rather than an unsupported status change.
Human judgement is required before a regulated document can progress to approval.

A useful QIP shows the current problem, the action being taken, the person responsible and the evidence that demonstrates impact. Journey keeps those elements together and links them back to the quality and delivery records that prompted the action.

Funding-safe and audit-ready by design
Every record is scoped to your organisation on each read and write — one provider can never see another's data.
Every state change is recorded against the real person who made it, so the history stands up at audit.
Funding is computed server-side against the right year for each start date — 2024/25 and 2025/26, and built to adopt the 2026/27 pack now published by the DWP.
AI is metered per tenant, prompts are scrubbed of learner PII and outputs are validated, falling back gracefully.
Built and operated by a UK company to externally-audited information-security standards.
No lock-in: export your data whenever you like, and your employer relationships always remain yours.
Journey is independent software and is not DfE or Ofsted approved. It does not guarantee funding or inspection outcomes.
