Illustrative governance evidence workspace with sample data.
Definition
Apprenticeship governance automation connects provider evidence, risks, meetings, actions and controlled documents so leaders can see what needs attention, who owns it and what proves completion. Consequential content still requires human review and approval.
Journey creates evidence-linked governance drafts, board packs, agendas, minutes and actions from permitted tenant data. Sources and calculations stay visible, judgement is recorded separately, and nothing becomes final without an authorised human approval.
Controlled SAR, QIP and board drafts retain a source snapshot so reviewers can trace every factual input.
Required judgement, review and approval are explicit states rather than an implied automated sign-off.
Owners, deadlines, priority, dependencies and closure evidence stay attached to each governance action.
Amendments, approvals, sources and resulting actions are recorded in the tenant audit trail.

A board should not have to wait for a manually assembled pack to discover overdue actions, repeated quality findings or emerging safeguarding themes. Journey brings those permitted sources into one controlled workflow, while retaining the underlying evidence and the person accountable for each decision.
The system assists preparation and follow-up; it does not replace leadership judgement. That boundary is visible in the workflow and in the audit trail.

Funding-safe and audit-ready by design
Every record is scoped to your organisation on each read and write — one provider can never see another's data.
Every state change is recorded against the real person who made it, so the history stands up at audit.
Funding is computed server-side against the right year for each start date — 2024/25 and 2025/26, and built to adopt the 2026/27 pack now published by the DWP.
AI is metered per tenant, prompts are scrubbed of learner PII and outputs are validated, falling back gracefully.
Built and operated by a UK company to externally-audited information-security standards.
No lock-in: export your data whenever you like, and your employer relationships always remain yours.
Journey is independent software and is not DfE or Ofsted approved. It does not guarantee funding or inspection outcomes.
