Partner evaluation

Strategic Partner Plan

For providers who want specialist tech training capability without building a tech department.

What is Strategic Partner Plan?

The Journey Strategic Partner Plan lets eligible UK apprenticeship providers evaluate Journey Advance through a protected tech training partnership. Journey/Cherith supports agreed tech and digital programmes with permission-based introductions only. Access and commercial terms are confirmed in writing.

The challenge

Some providers have strong employer relationships but do not currently deliver tech apprenticeships or specialist digital programmes. Journey/Cherith can become your protected tech training partner for agreed programmes you do not currently deliver.

What Journey does

You keep your employer relationships. We only support agreed tech training opportunities with your permission. Existing delivery areas, platform access and commercial terms are confirmed in writing.

Why it matters to providers

Specialist tech and digital delivery is hard to build internally. A protected partnership lets you serve more employer demand while keeping control of your accounts.

What is included

  • Journey Advance access subject to evaluation
  • Protected scope
  • Tech programmes only
  • Permission-based introductions
  • No unauthorised outreach
  • No cross-selling outside agreed scope
  • Specialist tech delivery capability
  • Provider keeps employer relationship

Eligible providers can evaluate Journey Advance through a protected tech training partnership for agreed programmes they do not currently deliver. Access and commercial terms are confirmed in writing.

Strategic Partner access is subject to eligibility, agreed training scope, data processing terms and a partner agreement. Journey will not use platform data for unauthorised employer outreach.

The provider outcome

Providers can serve more employer demand for tech and digital programmes while keeping their employer relationships. Platform access is confirmed during evaluation.

How the partnership is structured

The Strategic Partner Plan is for providers with strong employer relationships who do not currently deliver tech or specialist digital programmes. Journey/Cherith becomes your protected tech training partner for agreed programmes only: introductions are permission-based, your existing delivery areas stay protected, and there is no cross-selling outside the agreed scope.

Journey Advance access is subject to eligibility, an agreed training scope, data processing terms, a partner agreement and confirmed commercial terms. Platform data is never used for unauthorised employer outreach, so you serve more employer demand while keeping control of your accounts.

Evidence-linked and accountable by design

Built so your team can trace evidence, decisions and actions

Hard tenant isolation

Every record is scoped to your organisation on each read and write — one provider can never see another's data.

Append-only audit log

Every state change is recorded against the real person who made it, so the history stands up at audit.

Versioned DfE rule packs

Funding-sensitive figures use centrally managed packs selected by start date: 2024/25, 2025/26 and published 2026/27 version 3 coverage.

Governed AI

After provider, DPIA and release approval, Advance AI is metered per tenant and prepares authorised drafts and K/S suggestions for human review. It does not make regulated decisions or change the source record.

Evidence-led security controls

Tenant isolation, access controls, audit records and governed operations are designed into the platform.

Your data and employers stay yours

No lock-in: export your data whenever you like, and your employer relationships always remain yours.
